What causes infertility?

Several different problems can leave you unable to conceive. The leading cause of female infertility is irregular ovulation. Conversely, the top causes of male infertility are rooted in the testes. These issues affect either how much sperm is being produced or how the sperm are functioning.

How long should I try to get pregnant before being checked for infertility?
